In the words of designer William Kroll, the Millwheel Shirt is designed around the idea of "rotational symmetry"—the front chest pocket is tucked into an outward facing button placket, and the back pleat is taken out in one direction only, vs the usual symmetrical back pleat. The direction of the front pocket and back pleat line up around the "center axis" of the shirt, like the blades of a millwheel. Cut from a twist cotton twill, woven in Britain, and finished with pewter hardware.
