Freenote's western fit, the Wilkes features an elongated front rise with a regular thigh and knee, finished with a yoke-over detail and double-needle outseam construction. The fabric is a 15 ounce brown-black selvedge woven exclusively for Freenote by Yoshiwa Mills in Japan: a brown warp over a black weft with a gold selvedge ticking. As it wears, the brown chips away to reveal the black core underneath, and with enough time the black fades too, giving high-contrast fades where the fabric sees the most wear.
