The XX-019 is cut from Pure Blue Japan’s original XX Series fabric, a 14oz selvedge denim woven on vintage shuttle looms with slub yarns, which vary in thickness and give the surface an uneven texture. This version has been given a single wash, so most of the shrinkage is already out. It has a softer hand than raw denim while keeping the deep indigo that fades with wear. The relaxed tapered fit has a higher rise and a roomy seat and thigh, then tapers sharply from the knee to the leg opening, finished with a blue selvedge ID.
