A regular straight jean from Samurai Jeans in 15oz brown selvedge denim, made from Texas cotton slub yarn woven with natural nep. The color comes from Suren, a colorfast vat dye used historically in military garments; it fades within its own color family rather than shifting the way indigo does, resulting in more subtle wear patterns. Mid-high rise, straight through the leg. Iron pine button fly, copper rivets, shōgyō mujō jacquard pocket bags, cowhide patch. One wash. Made in Japan.
