A high-rise wide straight jean from Samurai Jeans, cut from 17oz "Zero+" selvedge denim. The fabric is woven on shuttle looms under very low tension with uneven No. 5 yarn in both warp and weft—this irregularity is what produces the slub and nep running through the surface. The pattern draws on Samurai's WWII-era S3000VX, opened up through the rise and top block. Iron pine buttons, copper Samurai Co. rivets, 8oz slubby denim pocket bags. Made in Japan.
