SWS-SC03 Japanese Cotton Sweat Pants - Kuromame
Samurai knits the SWS-SC03 from a sweatshirt fabric built on an uneven #10 slub yarn, spun the same way as the brand's 17oz "Zero" denim, giving the surface far more texture and depth than a standard sweatpant. Cotton is barely grown in Japan—production collapsed to near zero by 1970, which makes the Samurai Cotton genuinely rare, raised pesticide-free and hand-harvested on reclaimed farmland in Sasayama, Hyōgo, then dyed in the Kuromame colorway with juice pressed from local black soybeans, a byproduct normally discarded.
