Samurai

Founded in 1997 by Toru Nogami, Samurai is, relatively speaking, a "late comer" to the Japanese denim scene. Early on, Samurai was one of the first brands to introduce a 17 ounce denim, then a 21 ounce, and finally, a 25 ounce. With a keen eye for details, Samurai's focus goes well beyond the weight of the fabric, taking into account the climate their cotton is grown, the quality of said cotton, and the variety of techniques used in their fabric production. While they're known for their S510XX, a reproduction of a classic 501, Samurai has a variety of fits for nearly every body type.
